The dissertation deals with the fine grain parallelization of a code performing the time propagation of a wavepacket using a Discrete Variable approach is discussed. To this end a Task Farm model has been implemented. Performances obtained using MPI and the recently proposed skeleton based coordination language ASSIST_CL are compared.

Abstract
