In the outlook of clean and efficient power production, Solid Oxide Fuel Cells (SOFCs) are a promising technology. Unlike other fuel cell technologies, SOFCs can be run on many fuel types, included RES-derived gases. Many synthesis technologies exist, yielding syngas with different compositions. In addition to that, syngas composition is influenced by some other factors (heterogeneous feedstock, process variables fluctuation). Hence, it is interesting to investigate the fuel composition effect on SOFCs performance. The present study follows a previous work of the authors concerning the development of a black box model for SOFC performances forecast basing on fuel composition. Therefore, this study aims at broadening the applicability range of the model to fuel mixtures exhibiting a wider composition variability. All data used for the model development come from experimental activity.
