The magnetic form factor of each component of a ferromagnetic alloy has been measured for the first time. In the present experiment we analysed the CoNi alloy, which is particularly suitable for a neutron scattering investigation of this kind. However the method we are presenting can be applied to any ferromagnetic alloy if an adequate single-crystal is available.
