A 13-year-old spayed female mixed breed Cocker was presented with multiple nodules in the periocular region. The complete blood count and abdominal ultrasonography showed no significant abnormalities. No pathological diagnosis was performed at that time. A treatment with antibiotics and systemic corticosteroids was initiated. This treatment was repeated intermittently over a year’s time period. During this time, additional nodules progressively developed throughout the body. A fine needle aspiration was performed one year after the initial presentation. A cutaneous poorly differentiated multifocal mast cell tumor (MCT) was suspicionated. Rapid clinical decline led to euthanasia. Gross examination during necropsy revealed multiple skin nodules 0.2–1.5 cm in diameter mainly on the head and ventral region. The nodules were whitish, firm, freely movable over the underlying tissues. The tongue, heart, liver and kidneys had 0.1-0.5 in diameter multiple white foci. General lymphadenopathy was present.
