In this chapter, a systematic investigation of the effects of synthesis conditions on the properties of silver nanoparticles is presented. The morphology of silver nanoparticles was tuned by controlling the synthetic parameters to impact the nucleation and growth processes of the silver colloids, in water or in organic solvents.
