Abstract
Tha paper concerns the case of a terrible drought and a consequent awful thirst, which hit the army of the Seven when passed by the valley of Nemaea approacching to Thebes. The comparison with the Nile, apparently non pertinent, fits perfect in the context of the tale, but the verses with a second comparison which lets adumbrate Phaeton's fire are all spurious and deserve to be deleted from the text.File in questo prodotto:
