The chapter we focus on the determination of the slow tourism concept based on the study of the scientific literature published on this topic. Literature review lets us identify the main approaches from which slow tourism has been addressed. Despite the fact that scientific production on this issue must be considered still in its infancy, it is worth noting that there are already worthwhile contributions and research aimed at conceptualizing the feasibility of the slow philosophy in the tourism sector. The aim of this chapter is to clarify the concept of slow tourism and identify its antecedents.
