Abstract
While the world food production would be sufficient to feed all humankind, more than 800 million people suffer from hunger and malnutrition. This paper deals with the right to adequate food, as protected under international law by reconstructing its evolution from the UN Declaration on Human Rights up to the recent works of the UN Special Rapporteurs on the Right to Food. Particular attention is paid to the enforceability of the right to food and to the contribution that the Charter of Milan may give to its effective protection and promotion.File in questo prodotto:
