Abstract
To cope with the problems caused by global warming that, in the second half of the century, began to feel its effects, have been held since 1992, 21 summit in order to identify the causes and measures to be taken for a sustainable solution to the problem. The article reviews the results obtained in the various summit, highlighting the positive and negative aspects and emphasizing the close relationships between climatic conditions and territorial conditions. A similar approach is inevitable given the disastrous consequences that would result if the current trend of climate were to escape human control, at least for part of which are responsible for human activities. Specifically the current reality is examined studying the causes that led to such a serious situation without the powerful of the earth are able, finally, to accept the seriousness of the problem and find acceptable solutions as well as to lessen the dangers. A decisive role was played by increased pollution in its many forms (agriculture, industry, domestic heating, traffic ...) caused by the use of fossil fuels that have led to an impressive increase in greenhouse gas emissions, with inevitable repercussions on the increase in global temperature of the planet. With the explicit aim of putting in place the safeguards necessary interventions were convened numerous global conferences, whose results to date have not, unfortunately, led to final decisions, but to mere declarations of will to resolve the issue. All this has had and has immediate feedback in increased health-related issues for the increase of closely related diseases with environmental pollution and the increasing desertification of many areas resulting in reduced quality of life.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
