Abstract
Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has been described as the more important threat of war in Europe for more than 75 years. However, someone has forgotten the 140,000 lives lost during the Yugoslav Wars in the 1990s. Thirty years later, the Western Balkans can still suffer the consequences of the crises in Eastern Europe. The Western Balkans are watching the war in Ukraine with concern for geopolitical reasons, with the traditional link between Russia and Serbia, which has not imposed sanctions against Moscow, and with the separatism of proRussian Milorad Dodik in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and for economic reasons, for instance the closure of the Russian bank Sberbank in Europe, operating in many countries of the region.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
