This paper presents the design of waveguide filters based on the slanted ridge resonators and their implementation by additive manufacturing. The slanted ridge resonator is a simple and compact structure that can be used to implement singlets in the rectangular waveguide technology. The adopted manufacturing process is based on the 3D printing by plastic material and the subsequent metallization. Abstract

To this aim, the component is printed in two parts according to a novel splitting strategy. A set of prototypes were fabricated and measured to validate the proposed design and manufacturing.
