Through the General Pedagogy courses we want to reconstruct the problem of scientific autonomy in the pedagogical field and the search for a concept of active and participatory citizenship. The role of the teacher and the classroom space become fundamental factors for educational cooperation and for the activation of plural educational strategies. Reflection on an example of a course taken is useful for understanding the ability to conceptualize the relationship between life, school and citizenship. Knowledge through tasks, problems and relationships between different educational environments becomes the key to the path undertaken. Active participation is achieved from the data reported throughout the paper.

Abstract
