The bladder is an abdominal organ that can be easily evaluated with an ultrasound scan, and with adequate bladder filling, most neoplastic and non-neoplastic bladder diseases are usually well-shown and differentiated by means of ultrasound. In bladder cancer, although ultrasound is not a primary imaging modality for staging, it provides baseline information regarding the depth of tumor invasion. A proper bladder evaluation and the use of a new technical device are extremely helpful in improving the sensitivity and specificity of this simple and noninvasive technology.

Abstract
The bladder is an abdominal organ that can be easily evaluated with an ultrasound scan, and with adequate bladder filling, most neoplastic and non-neoplastic bladder diseases are usually well-shown and differentiated by means of ultrasound. In bladder cancer, although ultrasound is not a primary imaging modality for staging, it provides baseline information regarding the depth of tumor invasion. A proper bladder evaluation and the use of a new technical device are extremely helpful in improving the sensitivity and specificity of this simple and noninvasive technology.File in questo prodotto:
