Green Chemistry Metrics

Development, utilization, and standards of Green Metrics are herein overviewed, focusing on the correct explanation and way-to-use of the different metrics that can be used for the quantification of sustainability. The macro division of the metrics into mass-related and non-mass-related has been presented and motivated. Life Cycle Assessment and Circularity metrics have also been described, along with their rules. A general description of the application field of the different metrics has also been provided to facilitate comprehension and usage.
