In this chapter, we will examine civil society, civic action, and the defense of human rights. Next, we will focus on the role of education in the field of international human rights protection. Finally, we will reflect on the prospects for Italy regarding the establishment of an NHRI.

La questione della tutela internazionale dei diritti umani è tornata di recente al centro del dibattito nel nostro ordinamento. Nel presente Capitolo, ci si occuperà di società civile, azione civica e difesa dei diritti umani. Successivamente, ci si soffermerà sul ruolo dell’educazione nel campo della tutela internazionale dei diritti umani. Infine, si rifletterà sulle prospettive per l’Italia rispetto all'istituzione di una NHRI.
