The book presents several analytical tools and strategies for trainers, communication facilitators, and L2 educators who intend to create tailor-made and leaner-centred courses in intercultural communication or second language acquisition for foreign service-users (‘adults-in-mobility’) or service-providers (‘adults-professionally-in-contact-with-mobility), with particular focus on the intercultural communication problems in bureaucratic-institutional settings (schools, local councils, hospitals, universities, tourist offices etc.). At the same time it provides two prototype courses, one for adults-in-mobility, and one for civil servants, as adults-in-contact-with-mobility.

Abstract
The book presents several analytical tools and strategies for trainers, communication facilitators, and L2 educators who intend to create tailor-made and leaner-centred courses in intercultural communication or second language acquisition for foreign service-users (‘adults-in-mobility’) or service-providers (‘adults-professionally-in-contact-with-mobility), with particular focus on the intercultural communication problems in bureaucratic-institutional settings (schools, local councils, hospitals, universities, tourist offices etc.). At the same time it provides two prototype courses, one for adults-in-mobility, and one for civil servants, as adults-in-contact-with-mobility.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
