Obliteration of the nephrosplenic space (NS) is an elective surgical treatment in horses showing recurrent displacement of the large colon with nephrosplenic entrapment. Recent development in laparoscopic-assisted surgical technique includes the use of a polypropylene mesh. The purpose of this trial is to evaluate the outcome in 6 horses submitted to closure of the NS with a composite mesh.
