Let X be the spectrum of a commutative ring A, endowed with the patch topology, and let N be the category of ring morphisms from A to R, where R is any Von Neumann regular commutative ring. We prove that the set of non-empty closed subsets of X parametrizes the class of irreducible patch objects of N, up to isomorphisms of that category.
