We report a patient who presented with asymptomatic neutropenia and T-cell lymphocytosis and whose subsequent clinical course led to a diagnosis of B-CLL. The fact that for at least two months before the onset of B-CLL this patient manifested a number of phenotypical and functional T-cell peculiarities suggests that T-cell abnormalities may occur in the early phase of B-CLL or may even precede its clinical appearance.

Abstract
We report a patient who presented with asymptomatic neutropenia and T-cell lymphocytosis and whose subsequent clinical course led to a diagnosis of B-CLL. The fact that for at least two months before the onset of B-CLL this patient manifested a number of phenotypical and functional T-cell peculiarities suggests that T-cell abnormalities may occur in the early phase of B-CLL or may even precede its clinical appearance.File in questo prodotto:
