An outbreak of Moraxella spp. infection in meat rabbits. An outbreak of Moraxella spp. infection was observed in meat rabbits intensively reared. In particular this infection caused respiratory symptomes, purulent metritis and abortions in females. Neither symptomes nor mortality were described in males, even if Moraxella spp. was isolated. It is assumed that this infection is conditioned by stress of females before, during and after pregnancy.
