In this paper we study the modular convergence in abstract modular function spaces for sequences of general linear operators. The main reason of this work is to furnish a general method in order to give a unitary approach to various classical approximation theorems for sequences of operators from the integral convolution operator to the discrete operator, including the sampling series.

Abstract
