This paper describes a method to improve the conversion efficency of quasi-optical frequency multipliers using printed dipoles. The directivity as well as the front-to-back ratio of the involved dipole antennas is increased by additional layers with parasitic elements in such a way as to form a Yagi-Uda array. Promising measured and simulated results for a 3-layer structure are presented.

Abstract
This paper describes a method to improve the conversion efficency of quasi-optical frequency multipliers using printed dipoles. The directivity as well as the front-to-back ratio of the involved dipole antennas is increased by additional layers with parasitic elements in such a way as to form a Yagi-Uda array. Promising measured and simulated results for a 3-layer structure are presented.File in questo prodotto:
