A hospital teacher’s work is not only found in the communication of educational subjects, but moreover in the teacher’s ability to activate and promote human development forces in the child and in the child’s family. The bioecological theory of human development by Urie Bronfenbrenner (1979, 2001) identifies the main sources of these positive forces via a systemic view. Such a perspective sees the child as an active subject with roles and relationships linked with a dynamic environment. A hospital teacher’s ability to see and empower such connections has a positive effect on the child’s and family’s ability to cope and develop. During this talk, examples will be presented to see how this theoretic framework can be applied to daily school work. A planning and observational grid will be provided for those who want to test this framework in their job.

Abstract
A planning and observational grid will be provided for those who want to test this framework in their job.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
