The aim of the study was to evaluate and compare 2 different anesthetic protocols in domestic pigs as far as the cardiorespiratory effects, the quality of induction, immobilization and recovery. The 2 combinations ket-dex-meth or tilet-zolaz-meth resulted satisfactory in providing an adequate anesthesia for minor procedures lasting about 30 minutes but the second protocols caused a worse oxygenation status.
