A new inorganic–organic hybrid [VO(pcp)], where pcp is the P,P0diphenylmethylenediphosphinate ligand, has been hydrothermally synthesized and structurally characterized. The X-ray analysis revealed an undulated 2D-layered structure, where VO5 moieties are connected through bridging phosphinate groups. Magnetic measurements in the range 300–2 K have shown a weak ferromagnetic interaction between vanadyl groups.

Abstract
A new inorganic–organic hybrid [VO(pcp)], where pcp is the P,P0diphenylmethylenediphosphinate ligand, has been hydrothermally synthesized and structurally characterized. The X-ray analysis revealed an undulated 2D-layered structure, where VO5 moieties are connected through bridging phosphinate groups. Magnetic measurements in the range 300–2 K have shown a weak ferromagnetic interaction between vanadyl groups.File in questo prodotto:
