The paper presents a constitutive modeling for concrete in compression that takes into account the damage increment for constant and variable amplitude stress cycles. It is based on the model proposed by Sima et al. modified to improve the damage accumulation strategy. The method makes use of the envelope theory and can potentially be used for fatigue analysis. The comparison with experimental tests results available in literature and tests carried out by the Authors allowed the validation of the constitutive model.

Abstract
The paper presents a constitutive modeling for concrete in compression that takes into account the damage increment for constant and variable amplitude stress cycles. It is based on the model proposed by Sima et al. modified to improve the damage accumulation strategy. The method makes use of the envelope theory and can potentially be used for fatigue analysis. The comparison with experimental tests results available in literature and tests carried out by the Authors allowed the validation of the constitutive model.File in questo prodotto:
