In the present control the network vulnerability is a factor and that proves the weakness of computer systems in any organization compromising the confidentiality, integrity, availability and authenticity of the same. In that sense, this research is the result of study in the laboratory of Telred the Universidad de Oriente, Nueva Esparta core, Venezuela, where researchers we decided to verify the data traffic (inside and outside the campus) and vulnerabilities in servers and network devices in general, to determine whether the data frames traveling in the network provide confidential information or threatening the safety of users. For this purpose, we had two tools Openvas v. 4 and Wireshark (both free software) in order to test data networks and security systems in laboratory facilities and make improvements to allow for future respective projection at any university.
