The paper, first of all, shows tha basic aspects of an epigrammatic Anthology by an anonymus poet from vandal Africa, collected in the so-called Slmasius' Anthology, and then it undrlines the allusive meaning of the epigram De Troia, about the origin of Rome from the Troy's ashes, with particular attention to the juridical terms and to the various texts quoted by the poet.
