Abstract
—In this paper we discuss the application of a broadband Near-Field Scanning Microwave Microscope (SMM) to the imaging of biological samples, in particular mouse myotubes C2C12 and rabbit sarcomeres, highlighting the intriguing possibilities of the technique, and discussing the challenges in data interpretation. The system, developed by ourselves, exploits a Scanning Tunneling Microscope (STM) coupled to a Vector Network Analyzer, providing simultaneous STM/SMM images.File in questo prodotto:
