Abstract
Participation is among the most promoted strategies by European guidelines, but there is a gap between the ability to generate participated interest and its actual application in planning moments. Accordingly, the call is to talk about application for increasing shared governance and find tools that could link this gap. The focus is to study a method that use applications based on Public Participatory Geographic Information System) together with representation tools to create digital urban model. This model becomes an editable storage, able to integrate the data and, at the same time, freely query-able. This paper illustrates an application of the method in the experimental case of Castiglione del Lago. About fifteen volunteers have used Open Street Maps (OSM) to collect the shared knowledge about the place in PPGIS format. Afterwards, the PPGIS data are integrated with the representation tools in the parametric space to optimize the information and find new strategies. The modular structure of the project allows the process put in place to become a repeatable format earthquake to preserve the memory of places, ricomunicare values and restore meanings.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
