Abstract
The use of methyl methacrylate/poly(methyl methacrylate) as medium for the exfoliation of graphite platelets without any chemical treatment is reported. The dispersions were characterized by optical microscopy, TEM and Raman spectroscopy and confirmed the obtainment of few layer graphene sheets well dispersed into the polymer matrix. It was found that the concomitant exfoliation and dispersion of the graphite flakes led to the formation of a transparent and electrically conductive polymer composite.File in questo prodotto:
