Spontaneous tumors are rarely described in wild felids. The reported cases in lions comprise lymphomas, mammary tumors, schwannoma, osteochondroma and cutaneous tumors as fibrosarcoma or mast cell tumor. We describe a case of hepatic cholangiocarcinoma with diffuse metastasis in an aged zoo lioness.
