Measuring Environmental performances of Integrated Waste Management is an important issue in a context of sustainable development. This type of Analysis requires 2 areas of decisions. The first area concerns the use of a globally evaluating criteria for many different kinds of environmental loads. This can be done directly by combining local environmental goals and environmental model evaluation (such as Suisse Ecopoints ) The second area concerns data collection implementation. The question is how to use sensitivity analysis in order to have a good trade-off between database and site specific data. Since this kind of evaluation is typically data intensive and good savings in terms of time and costs can be obtained by using database data. In this paper, this topic is discussed with reference to a particular case. A Municipal Waste Integrated Management Life Cycle Assessment is carried out. This Integrated Municipal Waste management deals with the collection, compost separation, recycling, incineration, landfill disposal referring, in particular, to a medium sized Italian town. The Life Cycle Assessment clearly shows logistic importance in Environmental performances

Abstract
The Life Cycle Assessment clearly shows logistic importance in Environmental performancesI documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
