In this paper, the process for the additive manufacturing of a doublet consisting of an evanescent waveguide containing two transversally positioned mushroomshaped posts is presented. The process consists in the 3D printing of the structure by stereolithography techniques and then its metallization by using a combination of metal painting and copper plating techniques. The manufactured structure is very compact and it is capable of a response with two poles and two transmission zeros. A measured response very close to the simulated one has been obtained thanks to the tight tolerances of the AM process and to the very good surface conductivity.

Abstract
In this paper, the process for the additive manufacturing of a doublet consisting of an evanescent waveguide containing two transversally positioned mushroomshaped posts is presented. The process consists in the 3D printing of the structure by stereolithography techniques and then its metallization by using a combination of metal painting and copper plating techniques. The manufactured structure is very compact and it is capable of a response with two poles and two transmission zeros. A measured response very close to the simulated one has been obtained thanks to the tight tolerances of the AM process and to the very good surface conductivity.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
