AbstractThe vineyardisn’t an homogeneous production unit, therefore the harvesting must be done in different time, according with the clusters ripening. Actuallyit is necessary to adopt specific technologies for vineyard monitoring, to locate areas having different degree of ripening of the clusters. Through proximal sensing and NDVI calculation it is possible to define the vegetative vigor directly related to the yield of the crop. It is possible to operate less than one meter far from canopy, eliminating all possible interferences. The work reports data from proximal sensing application on two vineyards. In order to correlate the measured data with the actual data in the vineyard, have been identified, at random, ten plants, on which the following vegetative parameters: the number of outbreaks have been detected, the number of blind buds and of bunches. For each of these plants were collected, separated and weighed the clusters present. The musts of these samples were carried out laboratory analysis covering the main indices of maturation: Brix, pH and total acidity. The measured values, both in the field and in the laboratory, showed interested responses and correlation with data obtained from the proximal sensing.
