The paper deals with existence of solutions for a class of nonlinear elliptic equations, involving a nonlocal Kirchhoff term and possibly Trudinger-Moser critical growth nonlinearities. The lack of compactness of the associated energy functional due to the unboundedness of the domain and to the Trudinger-Moser embedding has to be overcome via new techniques.
