Abstract
We read with interest the two articles recently published by Tognetti et al about Pyemotes ventricosus detection in a baby's skin folds and an alternative hypothesis for mite identification. We have been interested for a long time in ectoparasitoses and particularly in dermatitis caused by P ventricosus working in close cooperation between dermatologists and parasitologists.
