Three words are often to analyze the dynamic and unpredictable process that are crossing the whole Middle East after the “Arab Springtime”: “freedom”, “fragile”, and “failed”. Of course, those concepts are hindered by conceptual limitations and flawed assumptions that make them obscure concepts for research. Since these concepts are normative concepts, and culturally specific, they are prescriptive within a frame which is not everywhere acknowledge.
