Abstract
In this contribution are presented the data relating to the harbour of archaic and classical age of Gravisca, resulting from the excavation campaigns in recent years and from a series of geophysical and archival investigations conducted in parallel. The result is a new framework for environmental contextualization in which to place the installation of the port and the sacred areas, rebuilt several times over time. But, above all, it emerges a clear desire for control by the metropolis of Tarquinia, which is expressed from time to time in the implementation of a series of architectural and urban interventions, first of all, the construction of a new road link between the harbour and the metropolis.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
