The aim of this contribution is to focus on the skin’s colour, a "mere" morphological characteristic, which has influenced and still influences the corruption of inter-human relations and, consequently, the formative paths of humanisation. Inside the multifaceted galaxies of racism, colourism - as the obsessive attention to the nuances of skin is defined - appears as both cause and effect of old and new discriminations. Moreover, colourism acts in a treacherous and underhand way, provoking an adhesion to the marginalisation 'system' even involving the victims themselves as they accept a 'whitecentric' hierarchy and priority. In order to oppose and prevent colourism in a formative way, one can only summon up to all abilities of the whole human being. Such abilities also find in reciprocal vulnerabilities a basis for respecting common humanity.
Lo scopo di questo contributo è di focalizzarsi sul colore della pelle, una “mera” caratteristica morfologica, che ha influito e ancora influisce nell’adulterare i rapporti interumani e, di conseguenza, i percorsi formativi di umanizzazione. All’interno delle multiformi galassie dei razzismi, il colorismo – così viene definita l’attenzione ossessiva alle gradazioni della pelle – si presenta come causa ed effetto di vecchie e nuove discriminazioni. Inoltre, il colorismo agisce in maniera infida e subdola, provocando un’adesione al “sistema” di emarginazione perfino coinvolgendo le stesse vittime giacché accettano una gerarchia e una priorità “biancocentrica”. Per, formativamente, opporsi al colorismo e prevenirlo non si può che fare appello a tutte le abilità della persona, intesa a tutto tondo. Tali abilità trovano proprio nelle reciproche vulnerabilità anche una base per il rispetto delle umanità comuni.
