Abstract

In order to predict magnetic quantities in the magnetic cores of electrical devices, scientists and engineers need hysteresis models sufficiently accurate. Whatever the chosen model, a parameter identification protocol has to be elaborated requiring specific material measurements. This article compares two parameter identification protocols for the same hysteresis model. The protocols, their input and output data, and their accuracy are described in detail and discussed.
