HPLC method to determine simultaneously pretilachlor and fenclorim in soil and in rice plants is reported. The determination is also carried out by GC and GC-MS technique for the identification of the analytes. The method allows for a rapid and quantitative detection of the two compounds both in soil and rice plants. The limit of detection was 5 ng for HPLC and 10 ng for GC. Recoveries were satisfactory and varied from 79.9% to 93.0% in soil and 77.1% to 95.8% in rice plants. Their reproducibility and accuracy make these methods a selective and sensitive tool for routine analyses.

Abstract
HPLC method to determine simultaneously pretilachlor and fenclorim in soil and in rice plants is reported. The determination is also carried out by GC and GC-MS technique for the identification of the analytes. The method allows for a rapid and quantitative detection of the two compounds both in soil and rice plants. The limit of detection was 5 ng for HPLC and 10 ng for GC. Recoveries were satisfactory and varied from 79.9% to 93.0% in soil and 77.1% to 95.8% in rice plants. Their reproducibility and accuracy make these methods a selective and sensitive tool for routine analyses.File in questo prodotto:
