In this paper we give some inequalities concerning the modular distance (Tf -f) for bounded functions defined on locally compact Haudorff topological spaces. As a consequence we obtain a convergence theorem for a net of such operators. Some applications to Urysohn tipe integral operators and to various discrete operators are given, including sampling type series.
