Several studies show that, in Europe, buildings are responsible for about 40% of total energy consumption, with a significant impact also in the environmental level; for this reason, an efficient management of the energy systems can be a valid tool to optimize the consumption, also implementing monitoring actions. These activities, which are still exclusively for the EPC energy performance contracts, could become an instrument for the improvement of the public building. The present work concerns the possible implementation of M&V techniques (measurement and verification) according to the International Protocol IPMVP®, on public buildings, with particular reference to the Arpa Umbria one, in Perugia. In particular, among the measures taken to reduce building’s energy consumption during the heating season and its environmental impact, the user decided to implement the smart working regime for two days a week from October 202 and to change the weekly heating system schedule programs, according to the effective occupation level of the building. The work presents the results of the application of the IPMVP® Protocol, in order to evaluate the impact of the proposed strategies in terms of decrease of energy consumption (methane gas and electricity).

Abstract
The work presents the results of the application of the IPMVP® Protocol, in order to evaluate the impact of the proposed strategies in terms of decrease of energy consumption (methane gas and electricity).I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
