Following the itinerary proposed by Franco Chiereghin in his work “Storicità e originarietà nell’idea platonica”, this essay wishes to dialogue with the illustrious Padoan philosopher, enquiring whether and how the Socratic “knowing that you do not know” can be considered as “human science” or, in other words, as the original structure of the human being, and how it can properly be considered as a key to the comprehension of Plato’s doctrine of Ideas.
