As the COVID outbreak has learned, pandemics can originate from zoonoses, particularly where the domestic and wild interface meet. Effective prevention is offered by the implementation of biosecurity measures, which, both in the planning and application phases, require multidisciplinary skills and the active participation of the people, even in an animal breeding setting. In this work, through the analysis of a case study, the level of biosecurity of a farm, the critical points and strengths, the need to calibrate the measures on the real characteristics of the farm analyzed and the impact of these measures on animal health and, in a One Health perspective, on human and environmental health are evaluated. However, many needs emerge which in the past were not considered and which are now required by law and hence the necessity to increase competences to find new solutions.

Abstract
However, many needs emerge which in the past were not considered and which are now required by law and hence the necessity to increase competences to find new solutions.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
