Catamenial pneumothorax is a rare disease and probably underestimated from the epidemiological point of view; it is usually handled as a more common recurrent spontaneous pneumothorax. Surgery apart, there is no 100% effective etiological medical treatment.1 Despite a multimodality approach seems to be the best solution, surgery remains the gold standard.
