This work aims to initiate a clarification on the validity of the Social Franchising in order to promote the sharing of scientific literature related to Narrative Medicine on Zoonoses. The initiative is part of the Micro Epidemic One Health Project which concerns the narration of zoonoses case studies elaborated by Healthcare Professionals who have faced these infectious diseases in their professional activity. The organizational characteristics of the proposed Social Franchising can foster a rapid transfer of scientific knowledge guaranteed by a research body to University Institutes, Health System, Professional Organizations following protocols subject to continuous review. The parent company or franchisor offers to the franchisee an already functioning system for collection and dissemination of zoonosis stories and assists him in customizing the Zoonosis Stories Platform - GitHub software. The affiliate undertakes to share the recorded experiences in its territory, to operate for the annotation of already published zoonosis stories and the drafting of narrative reviews. An advantage of this project is that it is very inexpensive, the risk of those who invest their own funds in the initiative is very low. It should also be also noted that this editorial Social Franchising model, defines a more serious and binding contractual relationship. A significant enhancement of the diffusion of the initiative is also obtained thanks to the narrative network and the use of the Copyleft Licenses (Creative Commons CC BY; CC BY SA and Apache 2.0).
