L'analisi della conversazione come sociologia del linguaggio

In this essay I would like to remember the spirit that animated the long years in which Andrea Spreafico and I shared readings and intellectual passions. I would like to continue my dialogue with Andrea about the possibility of an authentic sociology of language that is not reduced to a linguistic or sociolinguistic variation. My idea is that the conversation analysis, in the version provided by Harvey Sacks, represents an important step towards the realization of this sociology of language because it defines language as an action and linguistic communication as an activity and not merely as a system of symbols and a transmission code
