In this note we prove the existence of extremal solutions of a quasilinear Neumann problem. Assuming the existence of an upper solution and a lower solution, we obtain the existence of a solution, belonging to C1(T), of the quasilinear Neumann problem as a consequence of a fixed point result called the nonlinear alternative of Leray-Schauder. Then we also show the existence of extremal solutions.
